Today is a Dawes kinda day.
Dawes is one of my favorite bands and I was first exposed to them at the Bristol, VA Gentlemen of the Road Stopover Tour (put on by my #1 favorite band, Mumford and Sons) in August of 2012. They have this down-home Southern vibe, but a little bit harder and rock-y-er (Not a word? I just made it one.). The lyrics are innovative, fun, and deeply moving which makes them an even bigger deal to me, as I listen more for the words than anything else.

Anyways, I was listening to them this morning and really digging the second track of their Nothing is Wrong album. It's called If I Wanted Someone and it's bloody good. Give it a listen!
